The National Combat Ration Program produces IMPs that are used
for training exercises, deployed operations or in emergency
situations when the situation does not permit the use of fresh
rations. The IMP consists of an average of 20 food and non-food
items packaged in an overwrap bag.
The work involved includes the production of various flavours of
mashed potatoes and rice, shipment of these items to the
Assembler according to the delivery schedule indicated in the
contract and replacement of all defective products.

procurement.
