Under the Oceans Protection Plan (OPP), the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has been tasked to develop and implement a Collaborative Situational Awareness Portal (CSAP) for coastal Indigenous communities across Canada. CSAP falls under the OPP’s “Facilitating Indigenous Partnerships in the Marine Safety System” pillar, which seeks to provide Indigenous groups a formal role and the capacity to participate in Canada’s marine safety system.
CCG has deployed a prototype of the CSAP system to allow the Indigenous user communities to familiarize themselves with the concepts and capabilities, and to encourage development of future requirements for the tool.
The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) is seeking to award one contract to provide the professional services of one (1) Level 2, Intermediate Business Analyst to determine current use of the CSAP prototype and develop user requirement to guide future iterations of CSAP.
