REQUEST FOR STANDING OFFER

FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES
BOWDEN, DRUMHELLER and GRANDE CACHE INSTITUTIONS

Description:

This Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) is for the supply
of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables as required by Correctional
Service of Canada, Bowden, Drumheller and Grande Cache
Institutions, Alberta. All products required must be alcohol
free. No glass containers will be accepted.

Note: Bidders are required to submit bids for at least one (1)
of the Bowden/Drumheller Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Food product
Lists OR the Grande Cache Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Food Product
Lists, but are not required to submit bids for both.

Bidders must provide pricing for a minimum of 90 percent of the
items listed in the Product List(s) that they are bidding on.

Up to two (2) Standing Offers may be awarded, but only one (1)
Standing Offer will be awarded per Product List per period.

Quantities:

The items and quantities required are listed in Annex B, Working
Documents - List of Products

Period of Standing Offer:

Date of standing offer award to 30 April 2013, divided into 4
(four), three-month periods.

Solicitation Closing Dates:

Offers must be submitted for each refresh period, as per the
following schedule:

Refresh Period #01 - 16 April 2012 at 2:00 pm CST
Refresh Period #02 - 24 July 2012 AT 2:00 pm CST
Refresh Period #03 - 15 October 2012 at 2:00 pm CST
Refresh Period #04 - 15 January 2013 at 2:00 pm CST

Debriefings:

After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request
to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt
of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The debriefing
may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
