On an “as and when requested basis”, the Contractor will respond to Task Authorizations (TA) in accordance with the procedures outlined in the contract. The objective is to have in place a contract with a Bidder who is able to provide Statistics Canada with resources to provide strategic advice to support strong financial management within the department by providing services to support but not limited to the following focus areas:
Sustainable and ongoing review and improvement of internal controls;
Effective integrated strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and costing functions;
Effective analytics, fraud risk assessment and performance dashboards;
Strong salary expenditure integrity controls, testing and analytical methods;
Exhaustive and integrated Financial Management Framework; and
Elaborate training material in the area of financial management for both employees of the finance branch and budget holders (directors, assistant directors).
