This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid
solicitation number FP843-130010/B dated 2014-05-07 with a
closing of 2014-05-29 at 02:00PM EST.
Under the Argo International Floats cooperation program, The
Department of Fisheries and Oceans has a requirement to
establish up-to two (2) Standing Offers to procure Argo
certified floats.
The floats must communicate via Iridium 'SBD' or 'RUDICS'
satellite telemetry, use Lithium batteries and must include a
minimum replacement warranty of 180 days (18 completed ten day
cycles) after completion of deployment instructions.
The Standing Offer is for a period of 3.5 years. All resulting
Call-Ups resulting from the issuance of a Standing Offer, will
be issued on an as-and-when required basis with no minimum
commitments.
Yearly, historical purchases are estimated at twenty five (25)
standard floats and five (5) floats with oxygen sensor.
Offerors must submit a list of names or other related
information as needed, pursuant to section 01 of Standard
Instructions 2006 and 2007.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).
