Breakwater 306 Extension, Naufrage, King's County, PE

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.

Public Works and Government Services Canada, has a requirement
for a contract that consists of but not be limited to the
following:
.1 Placement of supplied 4 to 6 tonne armour stone to lines and
grades as indicated on
the plan. The armour stone is stockpiled in 2 piles located
site approximately 500
meters from the construction area.
.2 Materials from the existing breakwater (structure 306 on Dwg
M1) may be moved
or used to improve access and/or provide a road bed to execute
the armour stone
placement.
.3 The contractor should prepare and execute his own plan or
method to place the
rock while remaining within the limits of work.
.4 All construction work must be complete by March 31, 2012.
.5 All work required under the contract will be paid as single
lump sum amount.
.6 The contractor shall supply, if required smaller sized rock
material as may be
necessary to permit machinery/equipment travel; over the
supplied rock materials
during embankment construction. This cost is to be included in
the tendered price
for the work.

Site of Work is at: Breakwater 306 Extension, Naufrage, King's
County, PE

All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and
specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.054894.001 forming
part of the bid document.

The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost
category: $100,001 to $250,000.
