Nature of Requirements:
1. TITLE
Airport runway de-icer sprayer
2. REQUIREMENT
Canadian Forces Base (CFB) - Edmonton Garrison, 1 Service Battalion (1 Svc Bn) is a deployable field unit of the Canadian Army (CA) which provides second-line and limited third-line Combat Service Support (CSS) to 1 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group (1 CMBG) and the 3rd Canadian Division. 1 Svc Bn is responsible to maintain Garrison Edmonton and the CFB Edmonton Runways and requires functional Snow and Ice Control (SNIC) equipment to do so. In order to ensure operational and organizational success, 1 Svc Bn Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) section requires a pallet type airport runway de-icer sprayer unit that is mountable on ¾ ton or larger pickup box, flatbed truck, or trailer.
