Bichromatic and Infrared Pyrometers
Description :
Defence Research and Development Canada is currently running investigations for the application of High Energy Lasers for defence applications. One application consists in heating metallic samples to a desired temperature.
Contactless infrared and bichromatic pyrometers are needed to monitor the temperature of metallic samples irradiated by a high energy laser in real time.
