Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
Public Works and Government Services Canada, has a requirement
for a contract that consists of
but not be limited to the following:
1. Removal and disposal of existing concrete copewall and
wheelguard and other materials
to limits shown on drawings.
2. Cutting and disposal (or removal and disposal as necessary)
of existing asphalt to limits
shown on drawings.
3. Reconstruct the face of the work with new steel H-piles and
concrete lagging panels
(Berlin-wall), tied back to a continuous concrete anchor wall
to limits and in areas as
shown on drawings.
4. Supply material as indicated herein.
5. Supply and placement of tremie concrete, filter stone
backfill and filter fabric to grade
and limits as shown on drawings.
6. Site of work is at the Harbour Authority facility located at
Howard's Cove, PEI
7. Removal and reinstatement of any service pipes, lines, etc.
8. Removal, relocation and reinstatement of power poles where
necessary to carry out the
work. This will also include high-voltage lines as may be
encountered onsite.

Completion of the work is March 31, 2013.
All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and
specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.058933.001 forming
part of the bid document.
The estimate for this opportunity is within the following cost
category: $250,001 to $500,000

Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.
Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender documents through the MERX services provider. Addenda,
when issued, will be available from the MERX provider. Firms
that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from
other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely
responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their
intention to bid.
Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and
contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public
Works and Government Services and may be viewed on the MERX
electronic bulletin board as part of the information module.
Under the Code of Conduct and Certification provisions, (refer
to G101 of R2710), Bidders must submit the following as part of
their bid:
- a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
directors of the Bidder;
- a properly completed and signed Consent Form, for each
individual named in the
aforementioned list
