Marginal Wharf Reconstruction - Port de Grave, NL,
Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement
for Marginal Wharf Reconstruction at Port de Grave, NL. The
work will consist of, but not limited to, removal of a section
of existing marginal wharf, construction of new treated timber
marginal cribs, excavation/dredging of the existing seabed and
uplands area to facilitate placement of new rock mattress and
new crib structure, reinstatement of the existing uplands area
with asphalt topping, disconnect, temporarily remove and
reinstate existing electrical conduit and waterlines.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTION:
1. It is recommended that bidders visit the site andits
surroundings and verify the form, nature and extent of the work,
the means to access the site, severity, exposure and
uncertainity of weather, soil conditions and in general obtain
all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other
circumstances prior to submit bid.
2. Bidders must refer to Section 01 35 28 - Health and Safety
Requirements, Item 1.9, Project Site Conditions of
specifications before performing any site inspection or
preliminary work at site.
Bidders must refer to GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (GI) -
R2710T (2013-06-27) for the Code of Conduct and Certification
provisions applicable to this requirement.
