Nature of Requirements:
1. REQUIREMENT
CBSA has a requirement for NEXUS CANPASS Kiosk Receipts for major Canadian airports for NEXUS members using the kiosks.
NEXUS is a bi-national, Canada-United States program for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering Canada or the United States (U.S.) at designated air, land and marine ports of entry.
The program enables its members to enter either country more quickly and easily by using automated self-serve kiosks in the air mode of travel, dedicated lanes in the land mode of travel, and by calling Telephone Reporting Centres (TRCs) prior to arrival in the marine mode of travel.
The requirement is to obtain a Contract for the procurement of additional thermal paper rolls according to the technical specifications in this solicitation. As the volume of kiosk thermal paper rolls required by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) fluctuates with traveller volumes, the CBSA may select a quantity of thermal paper rolls between 500 and 2,000 for the optional deliveries.
2. TRADE AGREEMENTS
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
