This requirement is for: Library and Archives Canada

This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders under EN578-170432 who qualified under Tier 1, under the region / metropolitan area, level of expertise and for the following category(ies):

A.1. Application/software architect

The requirement is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract.

Description of the Requirement:

The Department of Library and Archives Canada has a requirement for Application/Software Architect, Level 3, to support the Reduction of Technological Debt in Legacy PHP and C Applications.

The Contractor’s resource shall provide architectural leadership, technical governance, strategic direction, and modernization planning for mission-critical archival applications and supporting infrastructure.

The Contractor’s resource shall assess existing legacy applications, identify and prioritize technical debt, define modernization strategies, establish target-state architectures, develop migration roadmaps, provide technical leadership, and oversee architectural alignment throughout modernization initiatives.

The resource shall ensure that proposed solutions support business continuity while improving security, maintainability, scalability, interoperability, accessibility, and operational sustainability.

The Contractor’s resource shall act as the architectural authority for the initiatives described in this Statement of Work and provide recommendations, standards, guidance, reviews, and governance throughout the engagement.
