Requirement
Site Roads & Perimeter Roads Upgrade

Work for this project comprises of repairs to the perimeter and
access roads by removing material, filing, compacting and
paving. Work also includes preparation of a new parking area and
installation of electrical components for the parking area
including but not limited to: trenching, duck work, conduits,
cables, switching, transformer, manhole, parking plugs and area
lights at the Correctional Services Institution located in
Bowden, Alberta. Work shall be in accordance with the Invitation
to Tender, Specifications and Drawings.

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT
001) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP)
which consist of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.

NOTICE - OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: Correctional Services Canada -
Bowden, Alberta

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
Authority one (1) day before the scheduled visit to confirm
attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will
attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.
Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be
given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded
from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.
