Relocate fire alarm sub-panel from the Stage Door on ground level to the basement Electrical room. The relocation would allow the sub-panel to be accessed more easily as there is currently millwork that is obstructing access. 2. Replace existing fire alarm notification devices from bell (audio only) to strobe and speaker (audio and visual) throughout the facility 3. Relocate all existing two-stage pull stations at new height per TADG. Where single-stage pull stations exist, replace with new two-stage device featuring integrated key switches for controlled alert reset and alarm silencing and installed at height per TADG. 4. New intercom / voice communication system (including amplifier) at Stage Door for emergency announcements 5. Program for by-pass functionality in designated theatres (annunciator at Stage Door): • George Weston Theatre and adjacent corridors • Lyric Theatre and adjacent corridors • Studio Theatre and adjacent corridors • Greenwin Theatre and adjacent corridors 6. All modifications to the fire alarm system shall include reprogramming of the fire work graphic, including any required digital updates to the plan drawings 7. Install new batteries sized to suite upgraded system 8. All existing fire detecting devices, supervisory connections to remain; extension of wiring required to suite new location of the sub-panel. 9. Patch and repair where demolished, and make-good surrounding finishes to match existing to satisfaction of Owner (e.g. paint finishes) 10. Provide all testing as required to confirm operations (including but not limited to): a. Fire Alarm Verification Testing b. Audibility Testing c. Smoke and Haze Testing (TO Live staff will assist with smoke machine) d. Others as noted in the Specifications
