Extension of Time
Notice is hereby given that the closing date for the reception of tenders previously due on 16 Nov. 2017 2017 is extended to the 21 November 2017 at 14:00 hours.
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) on behalf of Health Canada, requires a roof replacement at the Health Canada Animal Pathology Lab located at 110 Stone Road West, Guelph, Ontario.
SCOPE OF WORK
The work under this contract covers the roof replacement of the Canada Revenue Ancillary Building. This includes removal and disposal of the existing roofing system (gypsum sheathing board, insulation, membrane) and mechanical and electrical items. The structure is roughly 5m x 8m and contains two rooftop air handling units with ducting that will be replaced with one rooftop air handling unit.
COMPLETION TIME
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within sixteen (16) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There will be a site visit on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interested bidders are to meet at Health Canada, Animal Pathology Lab, 110 Stone Road West, Guelph, Ontario. It is recommended bidders wear safety boots at the site visit.
Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid.
Please contact the Contracting Officer prior to the site meeting to confirm attendance. Notice must be provided to Hodan Ahmed in advance of
Optional Site Visit.
Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation
