Parks Canada Agency (PCA) has a requirement for the replacement of the Kollock Creek Bridge which includes realigning a section of the Parkway Road. Work includes the construction of a new 20 meter single-span North-east Extreme Tee (NEXT) 36F Girder bridge complete with a composite 200 mm cast-in-place concrete deck crossing the Kollock Creek River. The new bridge is generally in the same location as the existing bridge and includes crash-tested steel barriers. The bridge superstructure is founded on fully integral piled abutments, supporting a reinforced concrete cap and cantilevered wingwalls along each edge of the abutment.
