Nature of Requirements:
This amends the closing date of the NPP posted on Buy and Sell
from 07 May 2014 to 16 May 2014.
Pay & Display Parking Machines and Mechanical Gate System
Parks Canada (PC), Ontario Region, requires the supply, delivery
and installation of four (4) pay and display parking machines
and one (1) mechanical gated entry and exit system at various
locations throughout Central Ontario. The Trent-Severn Waterway
National Historic Site of Canada's (TSW NHSC) pay parking system
and gate infrastructure requires modernization from machines
that are currently in place to machines that can provide
improved payment options, data collection and are compatible
with a mechanical gate.
All the deliverables must be received within 8 weeks of contract
award.
Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on 7 April
2014, at 10:00 AM, Lock #28 Burleigh Falls, 4834 Highway #28,
Burleigh Falls, ON). Bidders are requested to communicate with
the Contracting Authority five (5) days before the scheduled
visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the
person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an
attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a
representative will not be given an alternative appointment but
they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any
clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from
the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.

procurement.
