The work under this contract consists of the replacement of the
steel sheet pile wall anchorage system and construction of a
fibre reinforced concrete copewall on both faces of the existing
wall at the Saint John Ferry Terminal Wharf as the existing
steel sheet pile sheathing wall is corroded at the low tide
level. The location of the work is Saint John, Saint John
County, New Brunswick. All work is to be performed in
accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project
Number R.051108.001 forming part of the bid document.

A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit,
Room 421, 189 Prince William Street, Saint John, N.B.

The work is to be completed within forty-two (42) weeks after
contract award.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
category: $750,001 - $1,000,000 (HST included).

less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to
allow sufficient time to respond.

Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.

Pursuant to GC6 - Delays and Changes in Work of the General
Conditions, the resulting construction contract will include the
provisions for changes in the work at the request of the
Departmental Representative.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender documents through the MERX services provider. Addenda,
when issued, will be available from the MERX provider. Firms
that elect to base their bids on tender documents obtained from
other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely
responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their
intention to bid.

contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public
Works and Government Services and may be viewed on the MERX
