PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: Project number: R.054963.002, Sidewalk
Repairs - Macdonald-Cartier Bridge, Macdonald-Cartier Bridge,
Gatineau Quebec / Ottawa, Ontario.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work consists of sidewalk repairs to
the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge. The sidewalk concrete slabs are in
an advanced state of disrepair and require rehabilitation work.
We will stabilize the critical areas using wire mesh and/or
localized concrete repairs, including removal of loose and
unsound concrete.
Work is to be completed within ten (10) weeks after contract
award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the
following category: $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00
MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated
Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit on July 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m..
Interested bidders are to meet at the Jacques Cartier Park
Parking lot, off Laurier Street, Gatineau, QC
It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have
the proper safety attire. Footwear (CSA approved green patch),
Hard hats, safety glasses and vests are also required.
Contractor's personnel/individuals who do not have the proper
safety attire will be denied access to the site.
