Work Description:
Work under this standing offer shall comprise of all labour, materials, equipment and supervision required for the provision of asphalt and asphalt repairs for the Department of National Defence at the Canadian Forces basein Comox, Lazo, BC and HMCS Quadra Base in Comox, BC. The Work includes but not limited to: grading and rolling the existing base, replacing unsuitable sub base with compacted pit run, placing compacted crushed gravel 75mm thick, asphalt plan mix, grading of shoulders and placing gravel, placing asphalt by spreader, and removing existing deteriorated asphalt from DND property.
Period of the standing offer will be from date of award to April 30, 2019 with an option of a one year extension.
The total dollar value of the Standing Offer is estimated to be $500,000.00 (Applicable Taxes included). Individual call-ups will vary, up to a maximum of $55,000.00 (Applicable Taxes included). Proponents should note that there is no guarantee that the fullor any amount of the Standing Offers will be called-up; DND will issue call-ups only when the specific services to be provided under the Standing Offer are needed.
THIS STANDING OFFER CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold
valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC.
Delivery Date:
It is PWGSC's intention to authorize one (1) standing offer for a period of two (2) years from the date of issuing the Standing Offer.
