REPAIR AND OVERHAUL
The Department of National Defense has a requirement to renew
the Contract for Repair and Overhaul (R&O), modification,
reduction of spares, Mobile Repair Party (MRP), Special
Investigations and Technical Studies (SITS), Technical
Investigations and Engineering Studies (TIES), consulting,
concept design development, change and disposal for the Halifax
Class and components in accordance with the Statement of Work,
Annex "A" and Annex "B", attached to the RFP.
The period of the Contract will be from the date of contract
award to March 31, 2014 inclusively with option to extend by
three (3) additional one (1) year period.
MAN Diesel & Turbo Canada, since May 29, 2012, is the sole
licensed agent to perform work on the SEMT Pielstick 20 PA6 V
280 Diesel Engines.
This requirement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
