Wharf Repairs - Frenchman's Cove, NL

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a
requirement on behalf of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans
(DFO) for Wharf Repairs at Frenchman's Cove, NL. The scope of
work consists of the supply of all plant, labour, materials &
equipment for wharf repairs. The work includes but will not
necessarily be limited to partial demolition and removal,
replacement of bracing, wales, fenders, ladders, concrete deck
sections, cleats, moorings, etc., as well as the supply and
installation of new asphalt paving.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Before submitting a bid, it is recommended that bidders visit
the site and its surroundings to review and verify the form,
nature, and extent of the work, materials needed for
thecompletion of the work, the means of access to the site,
severity, exposure and uncertainty of weather, soil conditions,
any accommodations they may require, and in general shall obtain
all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and other
circumstances which may influence or affect their bid. No
allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on
account or error or negligence to properly observe and determine
the conditions that will apply.

Contractors, bidders, or those they invite to site are to review
specification Section 01 35 28 - Health and Safety Requirements
before visiting site. Take all appropriate safety measures for
any visit to site, either before or after acceptance of bid.
Obtain prior permission from the Departmental Representative
before carrying out such site inspection.

Bidders must refer to GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (GI) -
R2710T (2014-06-26) for the Integrity Provisions (Code of
Conduct and Certification) applicable to this requirement.
