This Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) is for The Department of
National Defence (DND), SouthernAlberta Sail Centre.
The Department of National Defence will be conducting Sail Training and
requires the services of a facility to provide meals and accommodations
for 5 weekends (Friday to Sunday) during the period of May 26, 2017 to September 24, 2017. The requirement also includes the availability of a bo
dy of water/training site, classrooms, accommodations and food services
for up to 40 Cadets and 6 Supervising Officers.
The standing offer period is for one year (1) from the date of issue with two (2) one (1) year option periods.
Training dates will change for the option year but the training period will remain the same along with the estimated number of cadets and number of sessions. If the option year is exercised, confirmation ofthe

17 schedule will be provided to the contractor by the Project Authority
no later than March 31, 2018. The Project Authority will confirm these dates and numbers as this option period is an estimate.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.
