Nature of Requirements:
This procurement process is for the leasing of storage tanks and the supply and delivery of liquid nitrogen to facilities operated by the National Research Council of Canada of which five (5) sites are located at 1200 Montreal Road in Ottawa and one (1) site at 100, Sussex Drive in Ottawa in accordance with the provisions of the Requirement at Annex ?B?.
The supply of the liquid nitrogen is to be on an ?as and when needed? basis.
IMPORTANT: total estimated required quantity of liquid nitrogen is as follows:
- Applicable to Standard G-10-1 per the Compressed Gas Association (CGA):
1,434,600 cubic metres / annum x five (5) years = 7,173,000
The period of the Contract (lease of tanks and supply and delivery of liquid nitrogen) is for a firm period of five (5) years.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
