Foundation Remediation

Work Description:
Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not
limited to, the following
items covered further in the Contract documents:
.1 Building Foundation Remediation:
.1 Removal and disposal of existing partition walls, door and
wood floor as indicated
.2 Mechanical wetblasting washing of existing foundation
concrete slab and walls to 12mm AFF
.3 Chipping around existing concrete foundation wall/slab
perimeter, pipe penetrations of wall and floor or wall
cracks for remediatl concrete patching work
.4 Application of cementitious and reactive waterproofing
.5 Removal of paint and rust from existing HSS columns and
repainting
.6 Storage Room 1: infill or existing basement window with
concrete block, new steel stud walls and ceiling assemblies,
new door and hardware and painting
.7 Metal shelving supply and installation

Site Visit:
The Site Visit has been re-scheduled for December 3, 2013 at
10:00 am. Interested Bidders are to meet at the Paterson Port
of Entry border crossing, located at 10 Highway 22, Rossland
British Columbia. Please park offsite as there is limited
parking onsite.

Bidders must communicate via email with the Contracting Officer
prior to the scheduled site visit to confirm attendance.
Bidders who do not attend will not be given an alternative
appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid.

Delivery Date:
The work is to be completed six (6) weeks after contract award.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between $70,000 and $75,000.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain

from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their
