Nature of Requirements:
This amendment is raised to extend the closing date from August
1, 2012 to 2:00 pm EDT on August 7, 2012.
The solicitation has been amended to inlcude a new certification
that must be provided with the bid.
CURTAINS, SHOWER, PLASTIC
Requirement:
The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for:
Item 001 - NSN 7230-21-536-0099 - Curtains, Shower, Plastic
PVC or Copolymer-Chloride, Acetate (non-rigid) Calandered matte
finish; Translucent; Shower Curtain Grade D-80-00 1-159/SF-001
(0.008 in. thk); Natural Color; One panel; O/A dim 48 in w, 72
in. lg; Double Ply Eyelet and Edge Reinforcement.
The items must be manufactured in accordance with :
1) The Design Data List (DDL-8486-122959) dated 12-03-09.
NOTE : The specification D-85-001-141/SF-001 dated 1989-06-19
included with the Design Data List package is in english only
and the french version will be included with this Request for
Proposal.
Technical Requirements
Technical Data shall be automatically issued, under separate
cover, upon request for the bid documentation. Therefore, it is
imperative that this request for bid documentation be done as
soon as possible to ensure timely receipt of the associated
Technical Data. Notwithstanding the above, the Crown shall not
be held responsible for untimely release of technical data.
Firm Quantity - (Item 001) :
A firm quantity of 1,550 each to be delivered to Montreal,
Quebec.
Delivery requested:
All firm deliverables are requested to be completed by
September 30, 2012.
This requirement also includes four (4) options to purchase
additional quantities as follows :
Only one (1) amendment may be issued to exercise each option.
Option 1 - Item 003 : estimated qty 1,550 each to be exercised
within 12 months after contract award date
Option 2 - Item 004 : estimated qty 1,550 each to be exercised
within 24 months after contract award date
Option 3 - Item 005 : estimated qty 1,550 each to be exercised
within 36 months after contract award date
Option 4 - Item 006 : estimated qty 1,550 each to be exercised
within 48 months after contract award date

Enquiries:
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days
prior to the closing date.
