Tilley Building,

Road, Ottawa, Ontario

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Re-roof the "D" wing of the Sir Leonard Tilley Building. Remove
the existing inverted built-up membrane assembly roof system
down to the existing air barrier and stell deck on the Sir
Leonard Tilley Building "D" wing. New 2 ply mod bit roof
construction to be added, including parapet metal flashing.
Temporarily and sequentially remove the existing condensing
units and associated piping to permit demolition and new work,
and re-install, add new prefabricated, self-standing tubular
steel guard rail system near adjacent building.

Work is to be completed within eight (8) weeks after contract
award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the
following category: $100,000.00 to $250,000.00

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:

There will be a site visit on September 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
Bidders are to meet at the main entrance of Sir Leonard Tilley
Building, 719 Heron Road, Ottawa, Ontario.

Anyone attending the site visit MUST have a valid security
clearance at the level of SECRET. Full names, dates of birth
and related company name must be submitted to the Contracting
Authority at the following email address:
m••••••••@••••••••.••.ca no later than September 24, 2014
at 3:00 p.m. as this information must be verified and confirmed
through CISD to have access to the site.

In addition to this, anyone intending to have access to the roof
MUST provide a valid proof of fall arrest training, required the
latest on September 24, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. for verification to
have access to the roof.

Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the
site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
patch). Hard hats, are also required. Photo ID is required at
all points of contact to the building. Contractor
personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire
will be denied access to the site.
