Requirement:
Parks Canada requires the construction of 10.7 km of asphalt paved road referred to as the East Block Scenic Drive to replace a substandard and unsafe road. The project also includes a new gravel South Access Road connecting the Scenic Drive to the Poverty Ridge area.
Project Timeline:
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Base Course material by November 30, 2017 and complete all remaining onsite Work by June 30, 2018.
Mandatory Site Visit
There will be a site visit on August 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM (CDT). Interested bidders are to meet at McGowan Visitor Center in the East Block of Grasslands National Park. The Visitor Center is located at the Rock Creek Campground, Fir Mountain, SK S0H 1P0. Coordinates: Lat 49.071363 Long -106.529632
The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.
