The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for a firm quantity of 1,000 Barricade Warning Tape in accordance with RCMP Purchase Description PD-SE-15 dated 2015-09-17; and respective viewing sample.
The requirement includes two option periods of 1,500 Barricade Warning Tape each that can be exercised within twelve (12) and twenty-four (24) months of contract award, respectively.
The Specification can be found attached to the Request for Proposal (RFP).
The RCMP viewing sample will only be available to bidders that are requested to submit a pre-award sample.
This requirement is subject to the following Free Trade Agreements (FTA) ; North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Canada-Chile FTA, Canada-Colombia FTA, Canada-Honduras FTA, Canada-Korea FTA, Canada-Panama FTA and Canada-Peru FTA
The responsive bid with the lowest total evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract (1 contract only).
The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
The Ineligibility and Suspension Policy and integrity clauses are being incorporated in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation.
Bids must be submitted as indicated on page 1 of the bid solicitation.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
The bid solicitation documents contain all the requirements relating to the bid solicitation. Any other information or documentation provided to or obtained by a bidder from any source are not relevant. Bidders should not assume that practices used under previous contracts will continue, unless they are described in the bid solicitation. Bidders should also not assume that their existing capabilities meet the requirements of the bid solicitation simply because they have met previous requirements.
It is the Bidder's responsibility to obtain clarification of the requirements contained in the bid solicitation, if necessary, before submitting a bid.
