NATURE OF THE REQUIREMENT:
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide on-site cleaning services for the car pool vehicles.
The requirement includes, but is not limited to:

• Remove any gum and foreign matter found on all carpets;
• Vacuum all seats/benches, doors and carpets (including trunk);
• Clean the dashboard, console, gearshift lever, roof, vents, glove compartment and

all other storage areas;

• Clean all leather or vinyl seats and head rests with a germicide;
• Clean all windows, mirrors, doors handles and lights;
• Make sure the windshield washer reservoir is full in all vehicles;
• Wash all rugs, including fixed carpets;

PERIOD OF CONTRACT:
The Period of the Contract shall be two (2) years from the date of the Contract Award with up to three (3) additional one (1) year period(s) applicable one at the time under the same conditions.

a) To be declared responsive, a bid must:

I. comply with all the requirements of the bid solicitation;

II. meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria;

b) Bids not meeting a) or b) will be declared non-responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.

SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
Prior to contract award, the following conditions must be met:

(a) The Contractor must, at all times during the performance of the Contract, hold a valid
Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security
Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

(b) The proposed resources on Annex C-3 are required to be security cleared at the level of “Reliability Status” as verified by the Personal Security Unit (PSU) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and must be kept for the duration of the contract.

(c) The Contractor or proposed resources must NOT remove or make copies of any DESIGNATED or CLASSIFIED information or assets from the identified work site(s).

(d) Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be awarded without the prior written permission of CISD/PWGSC.

(e) The Contractor must comply with the provision of the:
i. Security Requirements Check List and security guide (if applicable), attached at Annex "D";
ii. Industrial Security Manual (latest edition)
