JUS is the legal services provider for the Government of Canada. In that capacity, JUS has an ongoing requirement to obtain skip tracing services in support of our legal operations, specifically for the CSL group. The CLS group needs to locate individuals that are not making payments on their student loans in order to recoup payment through garnishment of wages.
The Contractor will attempt to locate an individual's home residence and/or workplace. The majority of domestic traces will be in Alberta. There will be instances where traces will be for individuals elsewhere in Canada. Traces may also require rush processing.
The Contractor will provide a written report to the CSL group to indicate whether or not the attempt was successful. If successful, the report must also indicate the address(es) and contact information of the individual.
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to December 31, 2018 inclusive. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to four (4) additional one (1) year period(s) under the same conditions.
The budget for the services within the contract period is estimated not to exceed $35,000.00 plus applicable taxes per year.
The Contractor must, at all times during the performance of the Contract, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS) with approved Document Safeguarding at the level of PROTECTED A, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate, Public Works and Government Services Canada.
The Contractor personnel requiring access to PROTECTED information, assets or work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
