To provide all labour, material, equipment, tools,
transportation, and supervision necessary to complete and
perform electrical regular and preventative maintenance services
on an as and when required basis for Agriculture and Agri-Food
Canada (AAFC), Brandon Research Centre (BRC), Brandon, MB, as
further described in Annex A, Statement of Work in the Request
for Standing Offer. The period of the Contract will be from
Date of Contract Award to April 30, 2013 with Canada retaining
the irrevocable option to extend the period for two (2)
additional consecutive one (1) year periods.
There is a Security Requirement associated with this service
requirement.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
Site Visit - OPTIONAL
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on Friday, 13
April 2012 at 10:30 a.m., at the Brandon Research Centre, 18th
St. & Grand Valley Road, Brandon, MB. Bidders must communicate
with the Contracting Authority no later than 10:00 a.m on
Wednesday, 11 April 2012, to confirm attendance and provide the
name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders who do not
confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who
will attend as required will not be allowed access to the site.
Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders
who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an
alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from
submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
