PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:
Tunney's Pasture Central Heating and Cooling Plant, 50 Chardon
Driveway, Ottawa, Ontario. Project # R.059005.006

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Construction Management Services to address operational
deficiencies at the Tunney's Pasture Central Heating and Cooling
Plant located at 50 Chardon Driveway, Ottawa, Ontario. This
mandate will address the existing operational deficiencies
related to the Central Heating and Cooling Plant and tunnel
system. The work will include but not be limited to the
following areas: mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, and
architectural. This project requires industrial construction and
industrial commissioning. The purpose of this Request for
Proposal is to engage the services of a Construction Manager in
order to carry out the work and to accelerate the Project
delivery.

The full scope of work services is to be completed by January
31, 2014. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the
following category: $1,000,000. - $5,000,000.

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Facility Security
Clearance at level of SECRET. Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit on July 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m..
Interested bidders are to meet at the Tunney's Pasture Central
Heating and Cooling Plant, 50 Chardon Driveway, Ottawa, Ontario.

It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have
the proper safety attire. Footwear (CSA approved green patch),
Hard hats, safety glasses and vests are also required.
Contractor's personnel/individuals who do not have the proper
safety attire will be denied access to the site.
