The Department of Canadian Heritage (PCH) is seeking to establish a contract for Professional Services as defined in Annex “A”, Statement of Work, for approximately 6 months.
The Professional Services are required to assist and support a Panel Selection Committee (PSC), set up by PCH, with the tasks related to the selection of qualified candidates for two decision-making Expert Panels for the modernized Court Challenges Program (CCP): an Official Language Rights Expert Panel and a Human Rights Expert Panel. Executive search services will be required in order to fill these positions. This will include such tasks as the promotion of the selection process to prospective candidates, the development of assessment material and conducting preliminary assessments (screening) of candidates to support the PSC. The Contractor’s executive search approach for Expert Panel members will use an open, transparent and merit-based process, closely mirroring the new process for Governor-in-Council Appointments. The approach taken will reach as many Canadians as possible, enable as many as wish to do so to participate in the recruitment process, and instigate sufficient public interest to warrant the conduct of this particular process.
