Nature of Requirements:
Tailoring Services
Public Works and Government Services Canada on behalf of the
Department of National Defence, Area Support Unit (ASU) London
has a requirement for tailoring services to be performed on site
at Wolseley Barracks in London, Ontario on an "as and when"
requested basis. All units supported by ASU London, including
cadets will be serviced during the period of this Standing
Offer. Services may include fitting and measuring of National
Defence service uniforms including jackets, trousers, slacks,
shirts, skirts, berets, wedges and bowlers.
The proposed period of the Standing Offer is 1 year from date of
Standing Offer with the right to request an extension for an
additional period of 2-1 year.
Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on
3 April 2013 at 11:00 AM, at

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
Authority 3 days before the scheduled visit to confirm
attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will
attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.
Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be
given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded
from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
