To provide translation services, including terminological research, on various general and specialized documents for the Correctional Service of Canada, in BC (Regional Headquarters, institutions and district offices).
The Offeror shall provide services in both official languages. It is estimated, that 70% will consist in translating texts from French to English and 30% will be translation from English to French.
It is the intent of the Crown to issue one standing offer.
The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is from January 1, 2017 to December 2017, with an option to renew for 3 one year periods.
The requirement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
This requirement falls under the Common Classification System (R1) covering Translation and Interpreting Services to which the World Trade Organization - Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP) (Annex 4), and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) (Chapter 10, Annex 1001.1b-2) do not apply.
This procurement is conditionally limited to Canadian services.
