IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS REFRENCING BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.
Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.
To use epost Connect to submit your bid, or to get more information on its use, please send an email to the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit’s generic address at T••••••••@••••••••.••.ca, at least six (6) days before the Request for Standing Offers closing date.
Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

Requirement: The Department of National Defence (DND), 33 Canadian Brigade Group (33 CBG) requires a three (3) year Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) for the provision of Catering Services for the supply and delivery of Dispersed Hot Meals, Boxed/Bag Cold Meals, Between Meal Supplements and Workplace Refreshments on an ?as and when requested? basis to various Military Reserve Units operating in Zone 2 (Central Ontario) and Zone 3 (Eastern Ontario) as illustrated on the Delivery Zones map in Appendix ?E?.
Operating Zone 1 (Northern Ontario) does not form part of this requirement.
The period of the Standing Offer is from date of issuance to 31 December, 2022.
This Request for Standing Offer may result in the issuance of up to two (2) Regional Individual Standing Offers (RISO).
Security Requirements: There is no security requirement applicable to the Standing Offer.
Debriefings: Offerors may request a debriefing on the results of the request for standing offers process. Offerors should make the request to the Standing Offer Authority within fifteen (15) working days of receipt of the results of the request for standing offers process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
