TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Nature of Requirement:
Request for Supply Arrangement (RFSA) is an opportunity for any interested suppliers to submit an arrangement in order to become a qualified supplier and to be authorized to provide services on an "as and when requested" basis for any work related to scheduled, dedicated transportation and related services which will consist of scheduled, dedicated mail/freight distribution runs and related services, intra and/or inter buildings, located in the National Capital Region and/or major city centres in Canada.
The origin and destination of the deliveries will normally be between Federal Government offices, but may not be limited to only those offices. Deliveries will be within city limits and/or contiguous areas of the city; some exceptions may apply.
It is the intent of Canada to issue multiple Supply Arrangements.
The Identified Users include any government department, agency or Crown Corporation listed in Schedules I, I.1, II, III, of the Financial Administration Act, R.S., 1985, c. F-11.
Any resulting Supply Arrangement will be valid for a period of one year, and will be renewed automatically unless withdrawn by the Supplier or revised in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Supply Arrangement. The period for awarding contracts under the Supply Arrangement is from April 1, 2020.
There is no security requirement at the RFSA stage for the Supply Arrangements; however, at the Bid Solicitation stage the Identified User may request a Security Requirement.
The requirement covered by the bid solicitation of any resulting supply arrangement is limited to Canadian services.
