The Contractor shall provide Dental Services to the Correctional
Service of Canada (CSC), Atlantic Insititution located in
Renous, New Brunswick. The services will be provided during the
period from date of award to 31 March 2013, with the option to
renew the term by up to 4 additional periods of 1 year each.
In order to fulfill the requirements of the contract, the
Contractor must:
Provide proof that he is licensed as a Dentist in good standing
with the New Brunswick Dental Society. The contractor must
provide a copy of the license(s);
Provide a signed declaration indicating that he is a member in
good standing with the New Brunswick Dental Society, that there
are no investigations or judgements against the proposed dentist
in any area of professional conduct, and that his licence to
practice dentistry has no restrictions. If there are current
investigations, judgements, or restrictions registered against
the proposed dentist, details of them must be provided as
indicated in the form;
Have a minimum of two years of work experience as a licensed
dentist;
Be able to communicate with offenders in the language of their
choices (English or French);
Be able to demonstrate their ability as well as any other
professionals that fall under this contract to provide
sterilization services of the equipment to meet the
Sterilization standards as identified by the Canadian Dental
Associations Professional Standards.
