Nature of Requirements:
The Client: The Canadian Forces Housing Agency (CFHA) is an
agency of the Department of National Defence (DND). It is
responsible for providing Canadian Forces members and their
families with access to family housing in support of
departmental operational requirements. The Housing Services
Centre in Kingston manages approximately 480 residential housing
units (RHU), 144 of which are apartments.
Requirement: The work of this contract comprises cleaning of
empty RHUs prior to occupancy, and weekly cleaning of apartment
block common areas.
The work is fully described in Annex "A"
Contract Period: The period of the resulting Contract will be
from 1 October 2013 to 31 March 2015, with Canada having an
irrevocable option to extend the term by up to three (3)
additional one year periods.
Mandatory Site Visit - A mandatory site visit will be held on
8th August, 2013, at 10:00 am at the CFHA office at 40 Lundys
Lane on the Canadian Forces Base located in Kingston, Ontario,
as specified in the Solicitation Document.
