The Environment Canada, Property Management District 1 (EC PMD1) as a custodian of the site has a regular requirement for preventive maintenance and repairs services to the Mechanical, Electrical and Architectural systems. These projects will involve work in the Environment Canada, National Service Office – Natural Resources located at 1238 Discovery Avenue, Kelowna, British Columbia, V1V 1V9.
Description of the Facility
Environment Canada’s National Service Office - Natural Resources is located on the University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO) campus in Kelowna. The building, shown in plan view below has a floor area of roughly 1600 m2. It is occupied by Environment Canada staff.
The Contractor will provide:
1) A range of operating and maintenance services to ensure all building equipment is functioning effectively.
2) Repairs and maintenance including preventative maintenance, service calls, emergency / trouble calls, and scheduled maintenance.
3) Follow a Preventative Maintenance Inspection Schedule and an Annual Inspection Summary for equipment listed.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT:
The contract will commence on November 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014 with the option to extend the contract by one (1) additional periods of one (1) year each.
- Initial Contract Period = November 1, 2013 to March 31, 2014
o Option Year 1 = April 1, 2014 to March 31, 2015
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
