Description of the Requirement:
1.0 Background
The Contract Management Services (CMS) division of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission requires, on an as and when requested basis (task authorizations), one senior and one junior level Procurement Specialist with knowledge, expertise and experience in Canadian federal government procurement.
2.0 Scope of Work
To assist the CMS team in meeting the procurement needs of clients by providing key procurement services such as drafting solicitation documents, reviewing statements of work, developing evaluation criteria, updating procurement policies or guidelines, and assisting with procurement data reporting.
To identify and implement initiatives to increase the efficiency of the CNSC’s contracting and procurement processes while simultaneously ensuring that CNSC continues to comply with the Canadian federal government procurement acts, regulations, agreements, policies and directives.
