Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement
This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid
solicitation number W771B-120004/A dated February 6, 2013 with a
closing of February 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM EST.
This requirement is for: Department of National Defence
Only selected TBIPS SA Holders currently holding a TBIPS SA for
Tier 1 in the National Capital Region under the EN578-055605/D
series of SAs are invited to compete. This requirement is open
only to those SA Holders who qualified under Applications
Services Sub-Class under the category for A.6
Programmer/Software Developer, Level 3. SA Holders may not
submit a bid in response to this bid solicitation unless they
have been invited to do so. However, should an uninvited SA
Holder wish to be invited, it may contact the Contracting
Authority to request an invitation at any time prior to five
days before the published bid closing date, and an invitation
will be made to that SA Holder unless it would not be consistent
with the efficient operation of the procurement system. In no
circumstance will such an invitation require Canada to extend a
bid closing date. The following SA Holders have been initially
invited to bid on this requirement. Where additional
invitations are made during the bid solicitation process, it may
be that they are not reflected in a solicitation amendment.

Description of the requirement: The Department of National
Defence has a requirement for informatics professional services
to support the Right Person, Right Qualifications, Right Place,
Right Time, Human Resources Technology Demonstration (R4 HR TD)
Project.
It is intended to result in the award of one contract.
Proposed period of contract: The contract period will be for
three years from the date of the contract.
Solicitation documents will be e-mailed or faxed directly, from
the Contracting Authority, to the qualified SA Holders who are
being invited to bid on this requirement. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED
THAT MERX IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF
