Silvera for Seniors - Request for Proposal - Shawnessy Commons - Ten (10) Suites Renovations

New Procurement: The renewal project involves updating 10 suites in Shawnessy Commons. The project scope includes, but is not limited to, removal and replacement of current flooring throughout each suite, removal and replacement of baseboards. Removal of bathtubs and installation of walk-in showers in each suite, bathroom countertop and cabinets, and shower tiles. Replacement of window coverings and damaged accordion doors, installation of new LED light fixtures, and repair/replacement of interior doors where necessary. Shutoff valves will be installed as required, and patching and painting of all 5 suites.

Shawnessy Commons is an 81-unit supported living building in Calgary. The renewal project will return the 10 suites to market for low-income seniors and provide safety features to allow sustained independence for the residents and increase the building's rental income.
