Full description

The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) has a requirement for the supply and delivery of a secure and encrypted Keyboard, Video, Monitor (KVM) solution for use within the Flight Recorder Playback Centre (FRPC).
The system will support a range of specialized computers and data recovery equipment used for flight data recorder (FDR) and cockpit voice recorder (CVR) download, playback, and analysis activities. These capabilities support operational services provided by the FRPC, including flight data analysis and investigations of high-risk incidents and accidents conducted in support of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF).
The KVM solution must provide the capability to securely integrate and manage access to multiple legacy and modern FDR/CVR processing systems operating within an isolated, stand-alone laboratory network. The solution must support the secure handling of sensitive and mission-critical data across all connected devices while accommodating the diverse interface standards and technological limitations associated with multiple generations of specialized equipment.
The system must also support efficient physical integration within the laboratory infrastructure, including rack-mounted equipment and associated power regulation and battery backup systems. The solution must improve and streamline user access to these systems, maintain continuous operational availability, reduce the need for manual hardware manipulation, and minimize the risk of damage to sensitive equipment.
