The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) intends to procure internet transit, wide-area data connectivity, and voice carrier services. The procurement is intended to replace or improve existing carrier services while preserving continuity for critical institutional systems, remote campuses, public internet connectivity, and voice communications.
SAIT is seeking Proponents that can provide a resilient, supportable, scalable, and commercially flexible solution. Proponents are expected to offer options rather than simply reproduce the current design. Each option should identify the service architecture, expected performance, risks, dependencies, implementation requirements, lifecycle implications, and total cost. The Proponents should recommend solutions that are considered to provide the best overall value to SAIT.
Note – a Proponent may submit a Proposal based on providing voice carrier services only.
