Description of Work:
Background
Shared Services Canada (SSC) operates the Internal Credential Management (ICM) service that provides trusted Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) credentials to Government of Canada departments and agencies with for use in supporting internal government operations. Serving an estimated 140 GC organizations, ICM identity-based PKI credentials are used for a wide range of applications and various uses, including encryption, digital signatures, authentication, etc. The ICM service is based on Entrust technology and uses a standard set of registration processes to issue unique digital credentials that enable department users, devices and applications to share and exchange important and sensitive information in a secure and trusted fashion.
The Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for the administration of subscriber credentials through the Entrust Management Software entitled Security Manager Administration (SMA).
ICM has a commitment to partners and clients to meet and maintain day-to-day operations and Service Level Agreements which will require an increased amount of credential administrators to meet future demand.
