AAFC has a requirement for a Contractor to supply professional services of one or more Privacy Specialist/consultant to: (i) conduct privacy impact assessments needed to ensure AAFC’s new or substantially modified programs are effectively protecting the personal information provided by ag producers participating in, and benefiting from, those programs; and (ii) meet the ongoing need for expert privacy guidance/analysis aimed at protecting personal information, avoiding potential privacy breaches and getting advice required to comply with the Privacy Act, as AAFC is seeing an increasing number of programs developed to help the agricultural sector go through the pandemic and further challenges related to changing environmental conditions for Canadian producers.
