Requirement:Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), Guelph Research and Development Centre (GRDC), Guelph, Ontario, has a requirement for a new Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrometer. This instrument will be used to determine the molecular structure and conformation of starch, protein, fiber and other components in agriculture and agri-food products. The FTIR spectrometer will also provide fundamental information for better understanding the structural and physicochemical properties of food ingredients and food materials.
