Description of Work:
The Defence Chief Information Officer (DCIO) in the Department of National Defence (DND)/Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) is seeking to implement the Treasury Board Secretariat Chief Information Officer Generic Suite of Products (Generics) within Assistant Deputy Minister (Information Management) (ADM(IM)). In order to accomplish this, DCIO is seeking a skilled Organizational Development Consultant who has experience in conducting an Organizational Readiness Assessment (ORA), which entails, but not limited to, the following:
a review of the mandate, organizational designs and underlying work descriptions of each division within ADM(IM);
a preliminary mapping of work descriptions against the Generics; and
drafting of communicational material and reports based on the results of ORA, including options and recommendation for senior leaders to support their decision-making.
Furthermore, the resource is expected to facilitate the implementation of Generics using a phased-in approach, and to develop related communication material in support of this initiative and its implementation.
The work is currently not being performed by a contracted resource.
